KUALA LUMPUR, August 24 – The YellowBanana iNC has jumped on the bandwagon with Leaves , on its ‘2019 Community Project’, by helping the people from the Rainforest Tribe at the Tiger Eye Valley in Selangor, thru, numerous activities include providing access to clean water, upgrading solar panels for electricity supply and put together an organic vegetable garden for its people.

 

 

Located near Kuala Lumpur, approximately 30 – 40 minutes’ drive from YellowBanana,

The Tiger Eye Valley is a traditional village belonging to the Rainforest tribe, compromising of about 138 people. The community project was attended by the (Main Chief Guest, position, and names).

In 2012, the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) had declared Tiger Eye Valley as a National Heritage and as in 2017, the village has been nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The project further coffers an art and craft center to showcase the exertions of the Rainforest tribe of Tiger Eye Valley and on top, making it as a regional training center for other villages. The community project as well primarily aimed at beautifying and upgrading the village. As a consequence, the improvement of the village as a cultural, ecotourism, and training center may well help FRIM’s efforts to get recognized as a world heritage site.

 

 

Aiming to educate and empower Malaysians to converse and protect natural resources since its establishment in 1995, Leaves involvements deals with the education and conservation of natural forest reserves

Leaves contribution for the community project includes by providing the facilitators to guide the overall activities of the program. What's more, some of the members of the Rainforest tribe from Tioger Eye Valley have also volunteered to be involved with Leaves as becoming the facilitators of the activities as well.

Under-privileged children who come from different backgrounds, help equip underprivileged youths with skills and resources to enable them to seek employment and build a successful future and lastly assist in upgrading the Strawberry Park Hospital in Penang Island.
